Tender Overview

SOLARTEX GLOBAL COMPANY LTD invites sealed bids from licensed and qualified fertilizer suppliers for the bulk supply and delivery of various fertilizer types in support of agricultural input programmes. Deliveries will be made to designated county agro-dealer networks and farmer cooperative warehouses across multiple regions.

Scope of Supply

• NPK (23:23:0) basal fertilizer — 50 kg bags
• CAN (Calcium Ammonium Nitrate, 26% N) — 50 kg bags
• Urea (46% N) — 50 kg bags
• DAP (Diammonium Phosphate, 18:46:0) — 50 kg bags
• Foliar micronutrient blends (Zinc, Boron, Manganese) — 1 L and 5 L containers
• Delivery to 10+ county distribution points; logistics and off-loading included
• Proper labelling, certification marks, and batch traceability required

Technical / Quality Specifications

• All fertilizers must be registered with the Pest Control Products Board (PCPB)
• Nutrient content to meet declared grade within ±1% tolerance
• Packaging: intact, clearly labelled UV-stabilised woven polypropylene bags
• Moisture content: ≤1.5% at point of delivery
• COA (Certificate of Analysis) from accredited laboratory per batch
• Products must not be within 6 months of expiry at point of delivery

Eligibility Criteria

• Certificate of Incorporation / Business Registration
• Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (KRA)
• PCPB Distributor License (current year)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in fertilizer distribution at scale
• Proof of warehouse / storage capacity (inspection may be required)
• Audited financial statements for the last 2 financial years
• At least two reference contracts of comparable volume
